Recently I need to remove the password for my old Blackberry device (BOLD 9700).
But I couldn't do it with all the settings in the phone. Not even with wiping my phone or reload the software.
Finally, I found out that I need to do a factory reset, which is hidden with Blackberry Desktop Manager, as described here.
1. you need to install Blackberry Desktop Manager
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader
3. Run loader.exe /resettofactory
