How to enable 4G LTE on Nexus 4

http://www.thegadgetmasters.com/2012/11/23/how-to-nexus-4-has-lte-how-to-enable-4g-lte-on-nexus-4/

The Nexus 4 received one main criticism about the lack of LTE. Google had made claims that this was done to provide the same device that worked on networks worldwide.  Everyone thought that the lack of LTE was a very big negative for the Nexus 4 and that was the end of story.
Well the story took a very interesting turn when the folks at iFixit found that there was an LTE chip present in the Nexus 4 from their usual teardown test of devices.  Now, users of xda-developers have managed to discover that Nexus 4 can be used on the LTE networks of Canada!
It is possible to force the Nexus 4 onto a LTE network (only LTE band 4 – 1700MHz and 2100MHz) using phone’s hidden device settings menu. Our guide will allow you to connect your Nexus 4 to any Band 4 LTE (AWS spectrum running on 1700/2100Mhz) network in Canada. That includes Rogers, Bell, Telus, Fido, Virgin, and Koodo.
In the US, AT&T has the licence to operate on Band 4 LTE which is yet to be implemented (no dates announced). Currently, AT&T’s LTE uses Band 17 and Verizon LTE uses Band 13, both of which are incompatible with the Nexus 4. T-Mobile plans to use Band 4 LTE in the coming future so this will be only network you can get LTE speeds if you are using a Nexus 4.
